"For Mother?s Day we wanted to try something new. We left with much disappointment. For starters they had sold out of the tuna appetizer, so we settled for the artichoke dip. It was very bland! Applebee?s has a much better dip for half the price. I triedthe tuna steak, cooked medium rare, with the strawberry salad and sweet potato. Every dish lacked seasoning, flavor and perhapslove. There was nothing that gave a wow. The filet mignon was very tender, juicy and flavorful! We wanted to add the maple sauceas an add on but when it arrived it tasted of pure brown gravy. We passed. Not worth $62, Service was fine, place was clean,reservation process was simple, lemon drop martini was stiff! And garlic knots were delightful. There are better options thatleave you satisfied and full!"

"The food was amazingly great!! The steak was perfectly cooked, so tender it would melt in your mouth and was seasoned to perfection, I can't think of one thing that could be improved. I've never been let down at Captn Al's and that's why I eat there as often as I can."

"I went here with my wife a couple friends; I must say this is a great restaurant to check out downtown Gulfport. Lamb Lollipops are an amazing starter. I ordered the fish of the day which was the Halibut. I wasn't too impressed with the fish. I should have went with the ribeye. Looking forward to checking this place out again."

"The selection of food and food was very good. The sushi was excellent as we love The Lure. As far as the atmosphere is concerned, I expected a little less casual. The main dining room was closed this time of the year, but we did not know that before we arrived. The martini was served in a regular glass, not in a martini glass. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it. Service was very good and waiter was attentive. We liked the concept of choosing more than a restaurant menu."

"So we decided to try somewhere we haven’t been and when I say they could’ve kept the restaurant and the food, throw everything away. Felt like a restaurant off of one of the National Lapoon movies. Super outdated..food was mediocre just “ok” absolutely nothing spectacular. Def a place to grab a bite if you need a break from gambling. We got the spinach dip, stuffed shrimp, surf n turf, red velvet cakeall was just . Def needs a menu environment upgrade!"
