"My friend Liza has decided to celebrate her birthday here. The biggest attraction was the stone oven panizza that this place boasts. Also, we heard that the steak is unique here, which we had to find out. <br>

We ordered what the server said were the best sellers. We ordered two of each dish like: <br>
1. Oysters - beautifully made and big too <br>
2. Mussels - just ok, nothing special <br>
3. Uncle Cheffy Steak (the grilled and toasted US rib eye with marble potatoes and salad) - it wasn't unique as we were told, but it was certainly toasted and then probably grilled a bit to fry the outside. I'm just glad it came out right and wasn't overly done :) <br>
4. Memphis Barbeque US beef ribs - there were more bones than meat and it was a bit tough. <br>
5. Two types / flavors of their panizza - it comes with aragula and diced tomatoes and some leaves that I didn't recognize. Just for the sake of illustration, they weren't pioneers of the rolled panizza, but Chef Chris from My Kitchen ...

"I went to L'Opera on Thursday the 26th May 2016, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.<br>
i was invited by a business client who was hoping to impress, he became very embarrassed as the evening and the meal progressed.<br>

I ordered the starter of Prosciutto ham with melon and a Parmesan tole, the starter arrived looking very nice with an under ripe melon !!!!! I needed a knife to cut the melon. If i had been paying for the meal i would have sen tit back, I however did not want to embarrass my host.<br>

My main course of Spaghetti Bolognese Portuguese was very tasty however i was not given a spoon to eat the spaghetti with and my host had to get up from the table and physically grab the waiter after trying 3 times to call him when he was only 1 meter away from our table.<br>

The piece de resistance of how bad the restaurant was was not the fact they moved my plate when I had finished but my other guests had not (maybe they are short of dinnerware !!!)...

"Raging Bull Chophouse Bar, nestled within the luxurious confines of Shangri-La Hotel in BGC, proved to be a delightful gastronomic adventure during my recent dinner with colleagues. From the moment we stepped inside, the restaurant's elegant ambiance and attentive staff set the stage for a memorable evening. The first thing that caught our attention was the impeccable presentation of the meals. Each dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted and arranged, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The aesthetics alone were enough to whet our appetites, and we knew we were in for something special. To begin, we ordered the potato gratin as an appetizer. While it was decent, it didn't quite reach the heights of the other dishes we experienced later. However, any thoughts of disappointment quickly vanished when the main courses arrived. The steak and lamb rack were undoubtedly the stars of the night. Cooked to perfection, the meat was tender and bursting with flavor. The chefs had truly mastered the art of cooking meat to bring out its best qualities. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, as both dishes left me in awe of their delectable taste. The mashed potatoes served as a side dish were exceptional. Creamy, buttery, and seasoned to perfection, they were an absolute hit among all my colleagues. We found ourselves shamelessly indulging in second helpings, unanimous in our verdict that these were some of the best mashed potatoes we had ever tasted. Now, let's talk about the desserts – they were an experience in themselves. The dessert portions were generously sized for sharing between two people, and we were glad we did just that. The bourbon ice cream dessert was a delightful surprise, with its unique blend of flavors. It perfectly balanced sweetness with a subtle kick of bourbon, leaving us craving more. However, the clear winner among the desserts was the lamb rack. The succulent lamb, perfectly seasoned and cooked, was complemented by a delectable sauce that elevated its taste to new heights. I highly recommend trying this dish as it was the standout star of the dessert offerings. In conclusion, Raging Bull Chophouse Bar delivers an outstanding dining experience. The ambiance, impeccable presentation, and above all, the exceptional quality of their steaks, lamb racks, and mashed potatoes make it a must-visit restaurant in BGC. I wholeheartedly recommend trying the bourbon ice cream dessert and, without a doubt, the lamb rack – it's an experience you won't soon forget. "My second time to be there and am still very impressed with their food and wine. They have a wide range of wine and staffs are very knowledgeable about it. Food is satisfying to your palette. Rib eye is done perfectly, just as we requested. The light but tasty salad to go along with is also good. Recommended glass of wine fits to what I want. Though I didn't get a bottle this time .... Just wish they have a better quality of wine glass (even if you're just ordering a glass of wine) than the one served to me."
