"An old Synagogue (according to a waiter remodelled into an upper floor restaurant, over the hotel cafe and entrance. We (party of 7 opted for the surprise menu 3 courses of delicious food, with a whole chicken each (well, poulet, I guess... as the...main course. Excellent friendly service, but an understandable slight wait for the starter, as the place was packed out. Very helpful and chatty waitress!"

"Visited this place on a business dinner. The staff were really helpful, excellent English and the food was awesome. Everything is cooked fresh, so it takes a little longer than normal but the atmosphere is great and food is worth the wait. I had flank...steak cooked to perfection, colleagues shared a huge rib eye and were equally pleased with it. The waiter made me a delicious bourbon cocktail to help with my cold. Thanks for that it worked a treat. Highly recommend this place, I think it might have a different name now... Haus Zauberflote."
