"My Grandchildren took me for a surprise Birthday lunch I had the salt and pepper chicken it was absolutely delicious the garlic mayo was to die for then I had the warm plum and almond tart I had ice cream instead of custard it was delicious but would have liked two scoops of ice cream will definitely go again"

"Not eaten here for over two years due to Covid19. We met for our first ever dinner date in 2007, when it was Mulberry Tree, and came back frequently during next 13 years. Today, our two course a-la-carte lunches were very tasty and excellent value with generous portion sizes, (perhaps a little too much sauce), served by pleasant waiting staff and not too noisy despite at least 10 tables at 1pm. We'll be back!"

"Went with best friend to celebrate our forthcoming birthdays… Very Disappointing Expensive, Food way below standard, sent back first choice main course after 2 mouthfuls, replacement meal was not much better, dessert was below average (chocolate sponge was disguised as sticky toffee pudding “chef” should be ashamed. Atmosphere too noisy even with a few people. Really gone downhill since new owners took over. Won’t be going again I’m afraid."

"This was an absolutely dreadful experience! Our Dad's birthday was supposed to be a special meal, and we didn't want to upset him and mum by complaining. The food was dreadful, the service amateurish. Food was burnt, Yorkshire puddings were simply not that, they were strange shapes of crispy batter! And as for the Tony thin slivers of pork on the pork roast, they were a complete joke! We had been here before some years ago but when I booked for the occasion, friends were telling me it had gone down the pan. How right they were. wasted......"
