"Great BBQ joint in the heart of KC. The BBQ is tremendous by the waiting line out the door and down the sidewalk. Don’t let that deter your choice because it is worth the wait and their process is very efficient, especially if people know what they want when they get up to the counter to order, or you can order online and pick it up to avoid the line. They provide multiple opportunities to view the menu to decide while in line, and instructions of their ordering process, but if you overlook them the staff is very courteous. They offer two different sauces, a sweet and a spicy. There are a variety of sides to choose from and every combo comes with two sides so it is easy to try different things."

"I am working near by, and drove by this place. I have been curious to try some good barbecue food. Finally, I made my way to this place. The customer service is amazing. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years, and I can assure you this girl, so sorry, I forgot to ask her, her name, is top rate customer service! And the food, turkey and brisket, so so tender) and the baked beans loved it). Unfortunately, I will be leaving this area soon, but when I work near by again, I will stop in! Awesome service, awesome food!"

"Never had pulled pork egg rolls. Tried it and liked it. It's exactly what you think. Pulled pork in rolled up in similar egg roll pastry. Had the Pulled pork sandwich. You really depend on the mustard dressing to give the pulled pork flavor, otherwise it's dry and flavorless. The item I liked most were the waffle sweet potato fries. The service was great. Super friendly and prompt."

"Wasn’t good… expecting flavorful fried chicken and baked pork chops but was disappointed with unseasoned meats and the Mac n cheese was wayyyyy overdone… mushy and watery and then the greens were undercooked and not seasoned well enough… I won’t go back…sorry"
