"Visited the hardwick for a birthday party and overnight in their accommodation received a very warm welcome room was warm and comfortable. In the evening in the restaurant. the food was excellent as the service. nothing was too much annoyed. chef terry was an absolute gentleman, very friendly and genuine. the breakfast was also a tasty bite. will definitely be visited again."

"Overall, The Gaff is a delightful dining destination that I often recommend to friends and family. The staff is exceptional, and the layout and ambiance are charming. However, in recent years, I've noticed that the prices have become somewhat inflated for the portion sizes offered. As a long-time London resident, I am no stranger to high-priced meals, but even by my standards, it feels a bit excessive for what is provided. For instance, the duck dish is priced at around £16-£18, but only consists of three rather small slices of breast. While the taste is wonderful and I can appreciate the quality and effort that goes into the dishes, I believe that there needs to be a balance where cost aligns with value, regardless of other factors. It is still a lovely establishment, and I will continue to recommend it to others. However, it would be nice to feel that you're receiving a bit more for the price you pay."
