"Really great old style pub. Fab range of beers and a good vibe. Only let down by fag ends everywhere outside, full wet ashtrays etc. It really needs the team to clean up morning and night to make the place look welcoming."

"Had a 2 night stay while attending a training in derby, I only wish I’d I’m had more time to appreciate the area and restaurant! My course hours were longer than expected and each morning the chef provided a gorgeous continental breakfast, far better than I’ve ever experienced. The staff were welcoming and friendly arrived much later than expected due to a breakdown). I stayed in the Derbyshire and had 2 great nights sleep in a peaceful and comfortable room. Excellent amenities in the room. I will come back again with my husband for a mini break!"
