"We were recommended to Jun Min Xuan by friends who'd been there a few weeks ago. The restaurant is located in a substantial development called Beaufort Park which is close to Colindale, Graham Park and Hendon. The restaurant is comfortable and reasonably furnished looks a little tired but the food and service was excellent. We hate far too much but everything ordered was delicious and the staff really attentive at all times. Will definitely return."

"Don't know if they are under new management, but they make one dish which you cannot find anywhere else and it rocks: coconut rice with pineapple. Their crispy duck is also very good but their crispy beef is nothing more than fried dough (no beef! so that is disappointing. All in all, their food is reliably tasty and the only thing that they could improve (other than the chilli beef is to arrange home delivery, even if it means sharing their drivers with other restaurants in the proximity."

"Booked a table for 8 for a family birthday celebration. Chose The Cock as we wanted a walk in Trent Park before lunch. Was a little concerned because of some of the negative reviews and wanted to make sure my mum enjoyed herself, but our service was good and the food was certainly plentiful. Had ordered the Duo of Beef the week before at The Arkley and I have to say the portion size at the Cock was MUCH bigger. The pub doesn’t feel as sophisticated as The Arkley, is a bit more lively, and the furniture is a little tired, but we all enjoyed our meals Seabass, Roast Pork, Roast Chicken, Tagliatelle and Beef. Just beware, the mini puds are either mini or huge depending on what you order the pavlova is huge, the mousse is mini. In summary, an enjoyable occasion with nice food and no complaints at all about the friendly service we received."

"This has been my go to Chinese take-way for over 20 years. The standard is consistently high great location if getting off at West Finchley tube. The salt and pepper prawns are a regular purchase. The sichuan dishes could and should be more spicy."
