"This is a great place if you are after an alternative to the usual pub , Chinese , or Indian fayre. The portions are huge, so be careful how much you order! The ribs are very good and the burgers are amazing. They have some great beers on too. Only downside is the kitchen seems to struggle when there are a few tables in eating. All in all though well worth a visit."

"We ordered for a family get-together so 8 of us including two pescatarians, a vegetarian and two vegans. There was a good choice on the menu with something for everyone. We phoned to check whether the veg chow mein was dairy-free; they thought probably but weren't entirely sure. We ordered anyway and the food was excellent and good portions, delivered in about half an hour. Free prawn crackers."

"Visited here with family one Saturday. The decor of the restaurant is very tired and dated. We sat in the window which meant we were by the door, which wasn’t the best spot. We all went for the banquet meal. The orders were taken very properly. The starter platter was really nice. Delicious ribs, prawn toast, seaweed, chicken and spring rolls. The quantity of seaweed wasn’t enough for six people. The duck course came next which I didn’t eat but again the servings weren’t matched up for six people, the salad was tiny as was the plum sauce, not enough to feed our group and that was with one of us not having the course after all. The mains were all quite tasty and plenty of rice. We liked the lazy Susan for the table which was handy. The service was a little poor, nobody collected used glasses so we had to pile these up in the windowsill, when staff brought fresh drinks they ignored the unclear empty ones we had to ask for these to be cleared eventually. One of the draft beers went off after two drinks, this came back on shortly but the staff never mentioned this to us, they did apologise. Ordered a Chinese beer and brought the wrong one, staff member apologised again. Diet Coke was served in a can which was warm. Soft drinks quite small in size. Had an irritating loud party seated next to us which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it was a bit of a nuisance spoiling the atmosphere. The food was nice here but based on the service and atmosphere I wouldn’t return."

"An excellent restaurant serving authentic and very tasty Thai food in worksop. we enjoyed the lunch menu that was made from a starter and curry for £8.95 my thai green curry was really good and my wife enjoyed their pad thai nudeln. the appetizers of chicken satay and jump rolls where also delicious. I would recommend to the people to go."

"I was very disappointed today. Ordered Kung Po Chicken, only 6 small bits of chicken in it hardly any fresh veg, seems like quality gone downhill. Also ordered the crispy Wonton to find them completely empty, all of them! I rang the restaurant, no apologies whatsoever. Very disappointed, won’t visit anymore."

"Having been to Hong Kong House several weeks ago with some friends. The food was lovely. So decided to bring another group of friends along. Whatever happened several weeks later I do not know! My friends and myself were placed next to table of a very rowdy party. The hot and sour soup was simply sweet and sour sauce with some vegetables thrown in. After having mentioned this, the bowl was taken away, having been replaced with something that tasted even worse! Second course arrived and the grease was sitting on the plate. The rest of the food was simply just a bad take away! In the meantime…the conversation was almost impossible by the stupid rowdy football style crowd at the next table, rapidly getting wasted on shots. With shouts of ‘shots’ to accompany it! As the evening progressed, the noise was building to a crescendo with the owner standing by the table, back slapping the patrons and fully encouraging this hooligan style behaviour! After the THIRD happy birthday song was sung it become clear that this was becoming increasingly intolerable. We went with the intention of catching up with with old friends at Christmas time and expecting a good time! Nay nay nay! Not so. We paid good money for an extremely poor experience. Having told the owner and the waitress about our God awful session at their restaurant. No apology was offered or refund/ compensation mentioned. DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL CHEAP TWO BIT RESTAURANT. P.S. The toilets were disgusting too. Just about says it all really!"
