"Amazing bbq. we had the ultimate sampler with chicken, ribbed, brisket and kielbasa with freshly cut chips and wobble rings. amazing! the whole flesh was perfectly smoked. meat was high-quality much damp meat with out too fat and the chips and tweeper rings were like I like them, crispy, but not burned. excellent service, beautiful seating area in free. highly recommended!"

"Pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. Great food, service and prices. I had the Salmon Ceasar Salad as a special on a Saturday night and it was fantastic. My husband had the roast beef stacker and that was excellent as well. The owner came out to talk to us multiple times and that made it even more of an excellent experience. We will definitely recommend and return!"

"Got this place recommended to me on Reddit. I really wanted to like this place. Friendly staff, killer menu, cool location and store. Ordered ribs, brisket, baked beans, and fries. Ribs were way overdone. Ok grilled flavor, not so much smoked, and sauce was ok but they were “fall off the bone” and that shouldn’t be the case. Beans were your standard GFS canned beans with some old meat thrown in. Not great but edible. Brisket should have been better. No bark unfortunately and the fat wasn’t rendered well. Eh. The fries were good! They shook on some extra zesty seasoning and they were fried to perfection. For the price I paid it should have been better than the chain bbq places like Dickies. Would I give it another try? Sure. If I’m ever in Bay City again."

"We stopped in after being at the state park and it was a hit. Live music was great and I am not a live music fan for the most part, but this guy was great with a large repertoire. I had the Lobster Mac and a house salad. The portion size was huge!! Easily could split between two adults and it was delicious!! I didn’t feel skimped on the lobster and the Mac and cheese was rich and creamy! The prices were reasonable especially with these portion sizes. I’d already eaten several bites when I remembered I should’ve taken a pic."
