"While walking past this place, caught by the big poster of the Permit Room TPR) we simply could not resist going in. The food and drink names will blend you and the old Bangalore charm , which you might or might have known till now. I would say I am lucky to visit it around that time when I am able to see the outside greenery in the fast fading daylight. The ambience is lively. Even they have kept a lot of plants inside. The decor evokes an old Bangalore charm. They have 4 floors. Coming to food they have Sunday brunch . In snacks you can find cheesy gunpowder pondy fries choice of potato or tapioca served with chunky mango pickle mayo) , bellary palya chilled eggplant mash and smashed peanut dip with jowar crackers), okra podi chips, mini podi idlis ,dosas roasted beetroot shredded chicken pulled pork )etc. You can also savour Goan prawn cocktail, pandi spare ribs, Kerala beef fry, liver n bacon pepper fry, fish pollichathu, kosambari salad mixed moving dal sprouts, feta crumble and pomegranate arils). Very different food on the whole. For drinks too you will discover different names and flavours. "With a heavy heart, here is bidding farewell to one of the most talked about restaurants in the city. with the message of it closed all over instagram, the restaurant was with all those who come down to eat their favorite meal one last time. We hurried to have a last meal before we finally adieu. for beginners we ordered char siu pork fillet, the sous vide pork fillet served with buttered cauliflower pure, radish celery pickle and char siu glaze. it is by far the best black starter I had cut into pieces, we made the whole plate in a flash of the eye. (5/5) for the main course we had ordered tsc frying and a bark fillet steak. the chicken tasted absolutely tasty with the only complaining that it was not as filling and made us wish more. (4/5) The filet steak (well cooked) was well cooked, the ingredients were absolutely delicious and complements the steak perfectly. (4/5) for the dessert I had ordered flan with burned caramel. the dessert was very average and there was a very strong taste of the caramel for my pleasure. Maybe all delicious appetizers and main course made us dessert so much to be disappointed. (3/5) the less, we are glad that we had the opportunity to visit this site before it was shut down. here is to hope that the @thesmokeco.blr will soon come with another food company."
