"This a large Mexican food restaurant (cantina) with 150 tables. Within a walking distance of the Insurgentes Theatre. Their menu includes a wide variety of Mexican cuisine, from entrees to cantina-type dishes. Buffet service is weekends only. Food quality is above avearage. Coffee is superb. On the other hand, the service has fallen into a confort zone relying on its name and loyal local clientele. Service is regular and waiters are far from courteous. Furniture and walls need retouching. There are a lot of opportunities for improvement. Expect to pay $40 dollars per person, including drinks and dessert."

"We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Food is below average. I ordered a salad ensalada de la huerta with Parma jam, figs and goat cheese. Just above average. Then a medium rare rib eye. The steak was well done, it seemed to...me less than the specified weight. When I questioned the waiter about the cooking temperature of the steak another member of our party, who asked for medium rare and received it well done, he said I was wrong, it was well cooked. The service was rude. Prices are OK, if you are willing to have a below the average meal with a bad attitude from the staff. My advise is to look for other options in this area. There are several places surely better to dine out."

"I was staying in Mexico city for 11 days. I had meals in Chili's 3 times. The food is very diverse: each person can find something he likes. There are local mexican dishes, hamburgers, ribs, salads, fish and so on. They have list of cocktails. I really enjoyed cocktail called CORONARITA made with tequila and corona beer. One of the tastiest cocktails I ever tasted. The atmosphere is nice, the design is peaceful and restful. The service is generous and quick. I can absolutely recommend this place."
