"I hate to leave bad reviews. but I ordered here last weekend (10/16/22} and it was just terrible. I was at the weekend in the city, had read reviews and was thrilled to try. No! I ordered a burned end sandwich, side of the beans and potato salad. I had time to test her sauces and liked the fat and spicy so much to go in my bag. I did. I originally told them I was staying in a hotel, so I'd need flatware. had no. I have my sandwich, drilling and coleslaw. two bites of sandwich (in which only the burned ends) so dry and fat, I almost fell to death. It's been hard with the sauce, didn't do anything to throw it out. Service-wise, it was okay. the young I had was in training, not a big thing, but he didn't get much help. Hopefully it was just a bad night for them, but it's one I certainly don't repeat!"

"Yesterday's Sunday brunch was wonderful. The steak and eggs were great, served withpotatoes and whole grain bread. The coffee was excellent.Service was attentive and friendly. The tables in the garden made a great place forconversation amid greenery."

"I received exceptional service by my waitress. She constantly checked on me during my meal to see if I needed anything and offered a complimentary dessert when the Chef gave me the wrong size fish serving. Outside the food being delicious, my waitress was very genuine, receptive and smiled the whole time during her service to me. It made for a pleasant evening."

"All though it was 1 hour wait service was fast even though waitress couldn’t hear are order right and steaks were cooked wrong food was taken back and returned in a timely fashion no fault on the waitress"

"I got the burnt end loaded nachos....the burnt ends were very tender and was very satisfied. You could definitely share the nachos with someone as they give you a generous portion. I also got a side of baked bean that were very good."

"The staff here was very friendly and personal. The grill is delicious, moist and delicate. The service was fast and accurate. Although we bought orders, a view around the restaurant will find the place neat, neat and clean. Beautiful atmosphere with a fair amount of prices and history displayed. Nice place!"

"Food was yummy, pork was smoked for 23 hrs. Chicken was good too, tender. The smoked sausage was also good, had two. I went on a tuesday so they did not have the smoked ribs or Mac n cheese. Outdoor seating only. Prices are cheap, $4 sandwich and a small cole slaw . They had chocolate chip cookies and even warm them in the microwave for us."
