"Got to have been the worst Chinese meal I have ever had! Had special fried rice, the fried rice looked more like boiled and tasted greasy, the prawns (of which there were 3) were tiny, the char siu was the greyest I have ever seen, the chicken was obviously a leg that had been boiled and added later. Really horrible food just don't!"

"We went to Christmas dinner, although it was nice, it wasn't as good as I expected. the starter I chose was goat cheese and cranberry packages - that was nice, but more Filo bakery than filling, the dinner I eat for the truthahn meal, great portions, but swim in gravy. Maybe it would have been better if in a gravy boot. but the pudding was excellent millionaire cheesecake that was delicious. coffee"

"Not been here in awhile. Very busy but relatievly quick service, the food prices id say are expensive compared to other restaurants of the same quality. However the portion sizes are small for how much your paying, my burger was nice but a little dried out (not enough to ask the staff to change) however for 17 pounds you expect better. A steak and rib combo almost 27 pounds, steak not the best. The deputy manager (can’t remember name) was very polite though and helpful."

"How have I not already reviewed this place!? I've been coming to Nick's restaurant for years. It is by far the best dining experience in Bolton. Mouth watering food, lovely friendly staff, nice ambiance... it's got it all. It is in the middle of an urban area and doesn't have it's own car park, but there's always plenty of nearby street parking. It's also not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. You will eat like royalty and leave with a full stomach, guaranteed. It is worth every penny. Plus, they often have a market menu which can make a great saving. Seriously, this place is wonderful. I will go back time and time again."

"Went easter Sunday, we arrived early as I couldn't remember the time I had booked for. No problem had a drink in the bar area while we waited. We didn't wait long even though they were busy. Shown to our table and ordered our meal. Starters arrived well presented and got where needed to be, very tasty and we did share them between ourselves. They kindly gave us time in between courses which is always good for me. The king and Queen dish which I had was amazing the fish was perfectly cooked nothing worse than under our overcooked). Hubby had the calzone pizza and again plenty of filling and very tasty. No idea how but also managed a pudding. Perfect evening had. Thank you to all the staff who make our rare visits very special"
