"We wanted more than a usual pub meal and gave this lovely restaurant a try. It is elegantly decorated, although service was slow.The meals were fantastic. My husband had the best eye fillet he's had for a long time and my rump was very tasty. The vegetables and salads that accompanied the meals were beautifully presented and very fresh.The wine selection was good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended."

"Golden Lotus was recommended to us by locals. The food was excellent, great selection and competitively priced. The only wines by the glass were their house wines. Staff were friendly and the service was efficient although the service deteriorated once the restaurant filled. About half of their seating was at large round tables, perfect for groups. We would definitely dine there again."
