"Burgers was okay. Not amazing, but okay. Hand made Pattie this is good, but maybe under seasoned. I wanted to go. Asked about one side of the severity, but in our hotel. Room and no engraving. Bummer. It didn't feel like going back. Didn't get a receipt, so not sure if I paid for engraving or not. The order took a while, but not a big deal. Had a beer and watched world fertilizer while I was waiting."

"This African-themed restaurant, named for a traditional part of the culinary culture of Gabon, is an absolute delight. We were graciously greeted and served, and the food was superb. The menu is eclectic with choices representing multiple cultures. Our choices were the African lamb ngondo and the crab and mango salad. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. There is much more on the menu that I want to try on future visits to Chemainus. I wish we lived closer, but we will be back."
