"Thought I’d give this place a second chance after a poor takeout years ago. Ordered a simple fried rice dish with curry and prawn crackers. The rice dish was very salty and mushy and the prawn crackers were stale and greasy (even my boys wouldn’t eat them and they normally fight over prawn crackers). Never again. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10"

"First time at Smokies after a few glowing recommendations from friends. We weren't disappointed. The staff are quick to serve you and the owner will happily have a chat with you about the food and smokers. We had a couple's platter and swapped the chicken for the burnt ends. Glad we did as they were fantastic. Amazing quality food, quick service and good value. We'll be back for more, especially the specials board!"

"The food was good as you can see. I did ask for a change with mine due to an allergy this was not listened too and was even told that it was fine! When it was given without items that i am allergic too, it was lovely I had a sandwich. The place was packed and the staff were run off their feet but when they came to the table they were lovely. It was a little chilly so many kept their coats on. I would return again but in the summer Price per person: £40–50"

"Went to try out lees after hearing many good things about it. The service was on point, the lad at the counter was very friendly, food was fresh as it could get, price was a bit expensive but bearing in mind all that’s going on, one of the cheapest in chorley though! amazing experience, would defo recommend!!!"

"After months of not eating out it was lovely to visit Top Lock for some lunch. We chose from the lunch menu and both had a ciabatta with firs I had the Mariner which was various pieces of fish, and the husband had steak. It was delicious. The only thing I could 'finf fault ' with was the quiet there was music playing in the background but it was so faint we couldn 't hear it. And as there weren 't lots of people eating, I felt awkward as the two people at the table next to us could hear every word we said, as we could them. It just made the whole experience 'awkward ' on what would otherwise have been a much better lunch!"
