"La Soucoupe is an awesome, cozy restaurant high up in the mountains at Courchevel 1850 ski area. It is a very welcoming and comfortable place to come in after some serious skiing. The food is great. The only thing is be prepared to lighten your...wallet a bit as prices are a bit steep. But a worthwhile experience. Reservations are a must for peak times as it tends to be very crowded."

"We visited CA this week and were a party of 6. We were given a table right in front of the grill and not in the main resto area. This was not a great table given the heat radiating from the grill behind and the...smell it left on our clothes. We waited at least 20 minutes at the table before we were brought our drinks( we ordered wine) not only did the sommelier not appear to know an awful lot about the wines she was most unfriendly and abrupt. After the first glass of wine was poured by the sommelier the wine was left on the table for us to refill our glasses. When the same bottle of wines were ordered she simply smelt the cork and went ahead and poured the wine into the glass. No one was ever offered a clean glass- the service was extremely poor. The waitering staff were not very attentive and approached the table to ask if everything was ok with our meal when we had almost finished. Sadly the service was not the only disappointment of the evening, the food was very underwelming as well. My husband ordered a pasta dish which he said was overcooked and lacked flavour. The men in our party ordered Cote de boeuf which was tough and not of very high quality. All in all an extremely disappointing meal and I would not recommend it to any of my friends."
