"It's the first time I've been to Mrs Wong's but it certainly won't be the last. It's not licensed so you can bring your own drink if you want or have a soft drink or Chinese tea which is what I had. The atmosphere is homely, and relaxing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The star though is the food, it's really delicious and well cooked. We had battered squid to start with and it's the best squid I've eaten, the batter was light and crispy and the squid was tender and just melted in the mouth. The duck was also tasty and well cooked. "From the minute we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed. The pub is lovely and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. The food was really good and beautifully presented. The band they had in the evening Dave the Cat were really good and there was a really nice atmosphere. Well done to all. We were not locals but we were made to feel like we were. Thank you! "
