"We went for a date night and chose the 5 course tasting menu along with a wine pairing. Although the seafood was well prepared (scallops and halibut were delicious), we were disappointed that the preparations were not as innovative as we were expecting. The service, however, was outstanding, and the wine pairings were excellent. The one thing that really stunned us was the amount of taxes tacked on the meal. We ended up paying 25% in taxes including a Covid Surcharge which we weren't expecting. If you're going to Oceanique...beware, the tab may be higher than you expect."

"Do not rent a hard imbibe. because of the turnover at the company my engaged and I had to set up all areas of the planning process. we were contacted within a month of our high time on a Friday night of feast imbibe, in which the cost of catering would rise. at this time our contract had been signed and festimbibe refused to honour it. we were not able to find a new catererer in the month of our high time and instead the fixed imbibe significantly had to pay more than our contract. we were able to negotiate the fees for about 10%, for which we had not budgeted, as we had a signed contract. Beyond that, the event coordinator with whom we communicate was not at our event after she told us several times that it was. planning a high time is stressful enough, do not let the hard imbibe make it more stressful with their last minute price increases, lack of an honor of a contract, and fake staff."
