"The food and service were outstanding! Our server, Julie, was attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed every bite from the warm bread to our cheesecake. I had the shrimp scampi special with the gratin potatoes and asparagus sides, and my husband ordered the tortellini with added shrimp. Both dishes were delicious! We definitely will return to the General’s next time we’re in the area!"

"I was actually surprised how good the food was here. Grilled with tomatoes Bisque was amazing and so was the shrimp po boy. my husband had the burger and that was also very delicious. In be love wants to be def back to our next trip."

"A few days ago my husband and I came here for dinner. This was not the first time we were here and enjoyed every time. This time I tried something else on the menu, the horned beef sandwich. That was the best I ever had! There was a generous amount of beef, plus the taste and tenderness were amazing! The conversation was also pleasant. We'll be back soon and bring the children for the first time! Don’t worry about O’Dowds, our children are good at restaurants."
