"We tried Rt38 BBQ for the first time this evening. Let me start with the staff Scott Melissa were very friendly and Scott the owner was very nice. They gave us a little bit of everything to try and it was all good. I am quite particular about ribs and I always order dry rub pork ribs when trying a place for the first time because you can cover a lot if they are slathered in sauce. These dry rub ribs were really good they have a really good pull off the bone bite. I also tried the brisket and burnt ends. Both were very good. We will certainly be going back frequently. Dan the only thing I will suggest is to better advertise and say exactly where you’re located on rt38. I am a native Glen Ellyner so knew right where you are, but someone looking for you from a different area may struggle a bit t find you. Thanks, can’t wait to go back."

"Nice place to eat. Good menu, and many gluten-free options for gluten intolerant customers. Server was very nice with helpful tips. The food was produced locally. They tasted fresh and tasted delicious. The green beans were a little too hard for me and the fish duck did not fill me up. At least I wanted to be full for $25. A great experience!"

"What a treat! All around wonderful experience! We were there for the New England regional meal clam chowder, lovely salad, and crab cakes. Boston cream cake was a nice finish!"

"Old school but not old fashioned.Had lunch on a rainy Saturday, fish and chips were better than most places rare to have non-frozen, freshly battered fish. Frozen glass steins of New Belgium dark lager from a pitcher added to the experience, and a Reuben sandwich was also enjoyed by my fellow diner."

"The five stars is for their french toast. Holy moly that french toast was amazing. Do you know that after my husband and I shared a regular order of french toast, I ordered a kids portion at the end just because of how good it was. But everyone enjoyed their food when we went. Husband said the burger was very good and my wings were really tasty too. They have this deep Smokey taste to them which was great. Definitely will be returning, more than likely on the weekend because I think they only open at 4pm during the week."

"This place is very cool. they have a great selection of unique whiskys and a great menu. Although it is not on the menu, they will pour them a flight of 4, 1oz for $30. not bad! her burger was amazing and my wife said the chicken sandwich was fantastic. they also have a big ice sunk for my birthday, so this is a plus! great ambiente and friendly staff connects it all together. Thank you!"
