"Food was overly seasoned. tasted like premade seasoning ,,,,but potatos were sour. def bad, i ate 2 pieces and threw it away and now my stomach is gurgling , and i feel like i have to throw up , actually , wouldnt recommend this place to anyone except my exhusband"

"We were looking for a BBQ spot close to the stadium for the UNC vs miami game so we could have some food for tailgating. This local spot was just right. The ribs and sauce were on point and the baked beans were good too. We would?ve gotten the Mac ncheese but wasn?t ready yet. It on my list for next visit. The owner as well as another patron of the business were great totalk to. Looking for a local spot to get food for tailgating. This will be our go to spot. If you remember we were the two ?Canefans and one TAR HEEL that came in Saturday afternoon."

"We made it here Sunday around 11:50 stood in line, surprised at how small it was, as we assumed it was a Resturant good for dining in but made more for ordering to go. I wouldn't even feel comfortable eating in there with how packed and small it was having people walking so close to the tables they had which maybe was enough to sit 10 12 people directly next to each other everyone else was standing to order to go which was like 25 /30 people packed. Customer service was excellent, one of the twins took our order and she was helpful with helping us choose sides. 25 minute wait time for the food. Food comes with main/ and rice and cornbread, with your choice of 1 side. Additional sides are 4.99 (not worth the size in my opinion unless they come with more that what's originally provided) my partner had the baked chicken(skin was crispy and looked well seasoned and moist), mac and cheese( not overly cheesy more like that old school baked how i like it) he said it was All Very Good down to the cornbread which he said was moist and tasty, Also blue lemonade which was really sweet but he also said it was good. I had the fried catfish(Very crispy thick batter but just a tad more seasoning than I wanted but the lemon helped with that), Collard greens (delicious with perfect seasoning to them), my cornbread was a little dry but good flavor( sweet). Neither of us ate much of the rice, maybe 2/3 spoonfuls.. It was Not bad in taste but didn't really want it. We were full."

"When I say on point...I mean on point... rib dinner was so good it made me want to slap my mama lol. Great grill master who took time to talk with us about his history in grilling and the community. Will definitely recommend family and friends to visit this spot."

"Please avoid this place if you don’t want to get sick!!!! Rice was so dry and thick! Chicken seems like they cook it refrigerate it and heat up and serve to the customers! Corn was soft wet seems like they don’t care about their business!!! Need a health department check here!!!!"
