"Beautiful restaurant, we sat in a corner from the way that was beautiful. I had a sirloin that was a nice cut and the way I wanted to cook, and my enkelin had a dirty burger that looked delicious! service was beautiful young lady named emma served us and she was very polite and friendly, looked pretty busy for a Monday night. banoffeee pie well recommended. overall good time."

"We love the Beams, we’ve visited a few times in the garden since restrictions have eased, but this was our first time inside the pub today since Feb and we have to say they are doing it brilliantly and it was so great to be back. The food was great, thoroughly recommend the ribs on the daily specials! The staff were fab as ever and it was great to see some familiar faces, Richard and Ashley."

"Great Pub and food been many times. On this occasion the reservation had been misinterpreted from OpenTable to the Pub and our table for 4 was reserved as a table for 2. The staff quickly had to re accommodate us, which left us in middle of the walk ways which was unfortunate, but there was no other option. It was Mothers day and the food took a long time to arrive for all courses with the main course being cold when it was severed. I think this was just down to how busy the place was. The food was great despite this and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. A swing and a miss this time for a pub thats always been great. I don't normally write reviews, but I thought this might be helpful to both OpenTable and The Barge as the loss of reservation put them under greater pressure on this busy day."

"Lovely little pub, independently run and staffed by friendly people. Christmas dinner was delicious and I enjoyed the very generous portions. Went back recently after a walk from Cranfield, delicious sandwiches and excellent service as always."

"Its been a long time since we visited this pub restaurant, so we didn't know if the standards had changed ... they hadn't they were fantastic. The food was great and we had some fussy eaters in the group, so congratulations to the chef. Unfortunately...we had one member of the group taken ill at the table and needed an ambulance. The team at the restaurant were fantastic and helped in every way possible, a very caring and thoughtful team who we can't thank enough. We will be going back after lockdown is done and reccomend the pub and restaurant for great choice of menu and quality of service. Thank you to The White Hart."
