"The very best BBQ I've ever eaten! Period! These guys are simply amazing! The chicken was tender and juicy and simply the best chicken I've ever eaten. To get a better piece of chicken, you'd have to be a rooster! But by far my favorite thing they make is their brisket, lord have mercy! It was amazing, not just amazing, but AMAZING! Tender as a mothers love, sweet and meaty, hot and smokey.... Perfection on a plate. I've tried a lot of brisket since I first tried Mattdaddy's and I haven't found anything even remotely close! The only thing better than a plate of Mattdaddy's brisket is a second plate of it! Can't wait to get back to Florida so I can get some more!"

"First time trying oxtail and it was good! Watch for bones but the fatty parts were melty like butter and the meat was like, fall off the bones ribs. Very good! I also tried the Mac n cheese boat with pulled pork and it was exactly what I hoped for. Asuggestion from a patron to try to pineapple mango drink was a great accompaniment as well. I do suggest a splash of tabasco onthe collard greens and red wine vinegar on the already tasty rice and beans. I plan on returning to try more foods from Dallas(the chef) on another cheat day in the near future."
