"This is a hidden gem with excellent pricing coming from a larger city. The plate was large and the pork was very good! Not dried out or over flavored. They even had Kentucky style sauce. The dessert was fabulous. Never experienced a sinker before. Loved it! Waiter was a kind and attentive young man with a smile. I would go back for the other menu items because I bet they don?t disappoint! Just a short ride from Hickory"

"I kept here for lunch during a ride. The interior was missing, but the outer deck overlooking the river was beautiful. We both got the Reuben sandwich and they were great. I have a side of green beans that were some of the best green beans I've ever had. My husband has the Coleslaw and it wasn't good at all."

"As someone who used to work in the restaurant business doing all positions, you might want to get new to-go staff. It?s completely unacceptable to have someone wait for 15 MINUTES until someone even acknowledges them. Even when someone EVENTUALLYacknowledged my parents, they said someone will be right with them, and had to wait another 5-10 MINUTES. Maybe have designatedto-go servers and this wouldn?t be an issue. 0/10 would not recommend trying to place a to-go order here."
