"Long wait for food, but probably due to SFA parents weekend and nationwide employee shortage. The staff they DO have is hardworking, friendly and professional with everything arriving as ordered. Burger was perfect, ribs were tender and the menu offers a variety of more creative options (spicy southern sandwich and barbecue Mac cheese) that were very enjoyable."

"With a few employees were and had a pretty good time. They kept us a table while we waited and quickly brought drinks. You have specialties at different times, so it is worth looking up when you plan to be around. The food was great for a bar. We had fried pimples and a pizza that I would suggest about every chain of pizza in the city. Of course, after a few pitchers everything tastes a little better. We had fun and go back."

"Came here for a business lunch. Ordered the Super Spud and it was super! Food flavor and temperature were good. Speed of service was excellent. Definitely recommend for good BBQ."

"I was expecting a food truck after reading about this place on Texas Monthly, but it is a standalone building.I had the brisket, sausage, and Mac and cheese. The wife had the loaded spud with sausage. Excellent food. Wonderful taste. Brisket was moist and smokey. Would have preferred a little more spice (bark), but each BBQ place has their own way of doing things. Mac and cheese was better than most BBQ places I've been. Didn't taste like it came straight from a box. Actually had some flavor.Small little place, but bring a big appetite!"
