"I haven?t had Sweet Potatoes in over 8 years I remember why. The cornbread tasted too sweet and didn?t taste homemade. The catfish was okay but didn?t taste seasoned. The Mac and cheese was good but the collard greens tasted sweet. I don?t like sweet greens. Food was packaged well."

"Over the years, we've visited when we wanted a nice sandwich. Not a great sandwich or a behemoth of sandwich. A nice sandwich. Overpriced, yes but I'm sure the rent in Wykagyl is not cheap. Nonetheless, never a first choice.Today, my wife got an attitude from the shorter guy' and, in today's world, there's no room for attitude. She then explained that this was a regular occurance. The taller guy' was nicer but not great either.When you're not the best or the cheapest, customer service and kindness is all you have to rely on. Maybe convenience too but that doesn't matter now. We'll be shopping elsewhere."

"Stopped for takeout yesterday in New Rochelle at Jolo's man that was a mistake. They had a very limited selection so I ordered a 2x plate which was about the size of a takeout sandwich box. I got mac and cheese and portabella mushrooms. The mushrooms had no taste at all and the mac and cheese tasted like flour with a hint of nutritional yeast. I made a stop about 15 minutes later and threw it out. I also ordered two patties a lentil and a spinach patty. The breading on the patty tasted doughy and was pretty gross. The lentil was a mush of barely flavored lentils, that also was half eaten and thrown out. The spinach patty had the same horrible crust, but the filling was actually pretty good. I ordered a small plate and two patties and it came out to $17 and change. I threw out half a patty and three quarters of the plate and ate the insides of the other patty and threw the rest out. I do not remember the last time I threw food out, but not a chance in the world I would go back there."

"We stopped in for a date night dinner and got a few things we ended up loving. the steak entree with shoe string fries we each had was amazing, on par with good steak houses and at a lower price the mushroom from the market dish was very tasty, esp when combined with the steak entree. we each had 1 spicy tuna, which was out of this world. It 's in the to share section, it 's not a to share dish by any means, but the price reflects that, and our waiter pointed that out.Would def recommend those optionsAlthough we didn 't have it, another table got the spare ribs appetizer and it looked amazing.The hostess was also very friendly and joked with many of the customers, making sure everyone was taken care of without being annoyingBetween that, the wine, and the candle lit atmosphere made for a perfect date night.If we had any complaints, it was the following: we also had the crab to share dish, which was a swing and a miss, nice presentation but not enough crab for the price nor taste, wouldn 't order that again we had reserved a table on the second floor through OpenTable but it was closed and it took a while to get a table on the ground floor because they were pretty busy. But we ended up having a nice drink at the bar before being seated.Other than that. Definitely a great date night, will recommend and go again. (Next time, will get the spare ribs)"

"This Michelin recognized restaurant is a beautifully decorated smaller restaurant. We went with a larger group of 11, so definitely needed a reservation. The food was phenomenal we were fortunate, that with so many of us, we got to taste so much on the menu. Apps: Truffle green beans, (Japanese) BBQ ribs, fava beans, pickled eggplant, eggplant fries, olive cheese plate, and Collabra dried peppers were some I got to try. All very tasty. My charred octopus was tender tasty. My husband’s premium pork chop. Parmesan was also very good. I was too full to have dessert but the ones that did loved them, especially the ice cream with espresso topping. The owner Johnny(Giovanni) walked around the restaurant checking in with the patrons, ensuring everyone was having a good experience. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try."

"Always wanted to go and checkout this place. Finally went on Friday to meet friends. Had a great time. Went back and brought my boys and we all had fun. Services is good but kitchen is slow lol. Both on Friday and Saturday so not sure what that deal is. Really liked it and will be back."
