"On our stop towards Venice we booked a hotel in Rosenheim. On a saturdayevening we strolled through the center and asked for a table for two at Gasthaus zum Stockhammer. Although it was quite busy a week before the oktoberfest, they sat us down on...the side of the terrace. The menu is full of German cuisine. Schnitzel, würst, etc. I loved it. Service was quick, despite it being busy. Nice bonus was the fact that lots of locals dressed up in oktoberfest costumes lederhosen and dirndl dresses"

"This place is fantastic. The burgers are the best I've ever had they're huge, loaded with toppings, and the juice just drips all over your hands and chin like a good burger should. There is no need to get the fries/wedges/beans you're full enough with just the burger and a beer! The place has this neat eclectic mix of decor modern hipster with exposed brick, dark mood lighting, and cute little plants on each table. Then some random old timey pictures up on the wall, and then in one corner, a polaroid photo wall. Yet it all works. A small beer selection makes the place interesting, and apparently their whiskey selection is much better (although I prefer the beer). Right next to the brewery."
