"I was there Saturday evening with my family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. Everything was perfect from the cozy room with the fireplace to the carrot cake with a candle! The Glass Tavern never disappoints. Kudos to the wait staff who are always attentive and friendly. A great place for special occasions."

"Awesome Western Themed BBQ Spot. The outside is decorated with lots of fun old West themes ornaments and statues and the interior has even more. Cowboy statues, stuffed animals and weapons galore. It's really an amazing atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and recommended some of their favorites. We got the BBQ Rib Sandwich and the burned end sandwich. Both were AMAZING! The meat was tender and the sauces were delicious. Everyone came with a choice of one side and one piece of cornbread. We had the Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. The Mac and the cheese were creamy and delicious. You also have meat from the pound to go. From Baby Back Ribs to pork and cattle breeze. We came to a whim while driving through Albany towards Route 87, but we will definitely be back when we are in the area. Stop when you're in the area. They won't be disappointed. ?"

"Walking in this place is quite small. There is indoor/outdoor seating with one room dedicated to the bar area. They only had one server who was working inside and outside so service was a little on the slow side with forgotten items like plates and silverware. Our appetizers arrived and they were delicious . The only thing I can say is they were a little cold I'm sure from just having the one server and they needed just a little more sauce. Our entrees which consisted of shrimp tacos, chicken sandwich and a burger were very good . I would like to have seen the cherry pepper mayo on my chicken sandwich to be a little thicker . All in all a very nice visit ."
