"A beautiful old inn. the rooms are over two floors without elevator, so foreseeable if they have difficultities with the stairs. when we were there, the kitchens were closed in the evening by staff. the breakfast was cooked either continental or with a good choice for both. the full English was good. there are plenty of parking spaces, although it can be used by visitors, so can be busy too time."

"We have been coming here for lunch for several years. The only time we have been disappointed was on a Sunday when they ran out of Roast Dinners. During the week it’s less crowded and they have a value menu, it’s not fine dining but well cooked and served to our taste, it is fully licensed, I cannot think of a better place for lunch within 15 miles. There is free wifi, good toilets (and disabled) and lots of parking on site. Don’t forget to register your car when you visit. Overall very good/ Excellent"

"We took our New Zealand cousins for an English pub evening meal and they were only able to describe it as a poor average experience. My wife's meal was the sea bass and was cool, my burger was ok fish and chips nothing special with the curry ok. Unfortunately we did not think we would return in the near future.
