"I do not give five stars easily but after this evenings take away they have earned it. I got a ribs in a tomato sauce with vegetables. It is not on the menu, but what he was cooking for family and friends. It was delicious. That was a good meal. Been in for a coffee several times in the past but the first time I have been in for food. eta that I have now had several meals for Appetito on Saturday evenings, I have never had anything less than superb service and good food."

"Visited here on a Groupon offer which was a set menu. Nice and tasty but didn't showcase the grilled meats that are on the menu. Good turn over of people eating so hope that points to great experiences."

"Damons is the place to be on your birthday if you live in Sheffield. Just bring along your birth certificate and you get to eat free and you get a birthday cake and they sing to you! Oh make sure that you book in advance too. Ask anyone in Sheffield and they'll have been to a birthday or two at Damons. The only downside is that lots of other people are celebrating their birhdays around you so you might not feel quite so special after all. The food is American style if thats what you like and the presentation is really great. Much better quality than TGI Fridays in my opinion, which has a similar kind of menu. This place is nearly always busy so make sure that you book and delegate the driving as they have a cracking cocktails menu"

"Glad we booked in advance, arrived and it it was packed. Friendly greeting, totally unrushed service, which I loved as gave us time to catch up with our son. Food was off the scale, both my wife and youngest son had the pulled pork which they both loved, my other son and myself had the share with extra sides, loads of beer, great food and very very friendly staff can't wait to visit again"

"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! wow, wow. this was incredibly good. the meat simply melted in the mouth, everything was so delicious, generous portions, the staff was nice and friendly, although they were busy eating still arrived fast. the service consciousness was in front of place. second after we order the dessert, it was on the table. that was ridiculously delicious. my photos do not make food-friendly. we would be willing to make a trip from leicester back here. Amazing"
