"I ordered the spaghetti and stuffed meatballs, and did not really enjoy it (too much spinach, as I'm not a spinach fan). The manager stopped by and asked us how our meal was. When I told him that I wasn't really enjoying it, he insisted on a substitute at no extra charge, even though I explained that there was nothing wrong with the food, it just wasn't to my taste. In less time than I thought possible, he, personally, brought my new meal (a prime rib he had recommended). Delicious! Whilst the Sawmills menu isn't really for a blue collar guy like myself, the service, from Noric the server to the Manager (who's name I didn't get), was absolutely stellar. If you enjoy more refined foods than I do, I couldn't recommend a better place."

"The deep fried dill pickles and cheese curds were awesome. My friend the dry ribs were really good. The kettle chips were alright. The Bellini was delicious but it slightly bothered me that it wasn’t in the right size of cup. My friend said the dill pickle Caesar was good. Our server checked up on us quite frequently."

"Even though it was a weekday, the place was incredibly packed for lunch. We had to wait for over 30 minutes but it was worth it. The service was swift and the dim sum items we ordered were all amazing. This place is highly recommended and will keep coming again and again as this restaurant is my 2nd favourite place to get dim sum in Edmonton."

"Very disappointing, my first time and I won't be visiting again. The seafood was horrible, very little choice and way overpriced. It was ice cold and very salty , had I known , I would never have wasted money on the seafood buffet, if you could call it that. I did speak with a manager and was informed I would receive a discount, however the only discount was through my membership.... I was totally disappointed and to be charged $69.99 for one plate of crab was absolutely ridiculous"

"Maybe I 'm an outlier, but my experience here was fine, I see a lot of damning 1/5 reviews leading to a 2.9/5 overall ouch! I ordered a half rack of ribs and some wings. I expect these sort of places to be pricey, and it is. But less outrageously so compared to other 'proper BBQ ' places. The ribs I got here were actually better. They weren 't dry, the meat and rub were quite flavourful. To be honest, the reviews here are so awful that I 'm hesitant to go back even though my experience was alright! I will probably consider it though. Hopefully they can do something to turn things around."

"Went today for brunch with my boyfriend. Have had Rodizio style at other restaurants before. Super impressed with the food quality. Service was spot on and felt that the entire staff work really well together and you could tell they all really cared about providing the best customer experience possible. All the meat was cooked perfectly. I definitely enjoyed my time. And the beautiful decor complemented the window view we were given of the city skyline perfectly. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!!"
