"Delicious food this place deserves its high ratings. Don’t worry that it’s not in the centre of town, it’s busy and lively. Make sure to make a booking on busy nights… like every Friday. The service was very good. My risotto was nice my wife’s eye fillet one of the nicest either of us have tasted for years. The accompanying vegetables also were delicious."

"Brilliant food and service was great. Definitely will be on our list of go to places. I had the Belgian waffles and my partner had bacon and eggs. Love how they do their hot chocolate and my partner got a flat white and he is fussy with coffee but throughly enjoyed this 1. There lunch menu looked great so have to try lunch next time we come back through."

"My partner and I were in Taupo for the weekend town was absolutely packed for breakfast. We were pleased to see the diner was nice quiet. Lady at the counter was lovely our food was delicious! Traditional big breakfast just like at home. Good pricing cool old school decor. We enjoyed coming here will pop in again next time ! Nga mihi !"

"Went with a group last weekend. Personally I had Tempura Prawns followed by the Fettuccini with added chorizo and prawns. Mine superb. Couple of the other had crispy chicken don't go near it. Atmosphere OK Service, given they were quite busy adequate"

"Showed up late notice with no booking and was catered to by staff. Service was lovely and top notch and the food was amazing. My wife had the salmon which she commented was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. The garlic ciabatta bread went down a treat as well."

"Excellent restaurant and bar in the center of Taupo’s central business district! It is a beautiful space, with lots of wood, lovely woven light fixtures, brass lighting over the bar, ferns, and a fireplace. For beer lovers, there are 10 beers on tap, plus they have a nice wine list and a full bar. The menu is excellent, with strong sharing plates, pizzas, pub standards like fish and chips, great sounding salads, plus a range of other entrees. We got Chicken Parmigiana (yum!! and followed it with Sticky Date Pudding for dessert. Great all-around experience and I’d definitely go back."
