"Find fantastic. excellent quality meat and not too expensive. we had luck sharing one of the tomahawk steaks. it was cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, fat was nice down, flesh pink and juicy, all edible (except the bone naturally). the sides were just as good. sweet potato frries, clobige chips and, I've never been a fan of Mac cheese, at least that was until I visited coopers grill, his fantastic, light and fluffy, beautifully spiced. we chose the pfefferkorn sauce, which was amazing and also had the bourbon sauce, which was for me a little too strong for the steak. with the Bourbon sauce was nothing wrong, it was just that the meat was so tasty, it was a shame to mask this ingenious taste and quality with a strong sose. the only reason this place does not get 5 stars is that I think the front of the house needs a little more training on her product and how meat is served depending on how they have asked that it be cooked and it was very hot in the restaurant. We certainly have a real summer this year, but it was unpleasant to eat in such temperatures. it's an old building that's why they don't have air cones, but I'm sure there are other solutions. other than that, top notch and recommend this place for a high quality meal."

"My Partner parents live in WGC so finishing our dog walk. We popped in the Sun Inn in Lemsford. We usually used the Long Short Arm. Unfortunately at one end of the pub a very Rowdy bunch of kids, very loud, and drunk. Talking to one I think he said they were from Hatfield Athletic FC. What a let down for the pub, and FC. I can only describe them as a Creche, without being supervised. Whilst using the means WC the loo was stuffed with toilet roll. So next time the crocked Chimney. Alex."

"Unfortunately there was not enough staff to cover the amount of customers, therefore queueing 10 to 15 minutes to get a drink, food also 35 minutes late, the staff that were there did very well. Gents toilet was flooded all night, nobody attempted to clean it, but,we made the best of it entertained by the Soul Man who was brilliant as always."

"Great situation and atmosphere can be made by love to detail. while eating (drilled cheese/chorizo starter, quiche main course, main course) was generally disappointing from a high standard overall. the grilled cheese was not even melted. the quiche main course was a mere part, which was more like a starter. the back door of the house was opened even though it was in the middle of oktober and therefore it was a very cold table that we had to bear for lunch. like many similar foods it was chronically underoccupied, so even the payment took an eternality. even expensive, though thewellington has a lot of potential, this was unresolved by an overwhelming total offer."
