"I love hawaiian tropix. there is no better place to enjoy pho than on hawaiian tropix. it's just the best thing about customer service, we went regularly when we lived in orchard mesa. I was greeted with a friendly hallo and exact delivery of my order. then we moved out of the state. the owner reminded me about 1 year later and said she felt bad that we stopped coming. it was just because we were 18 hours away. when visiting back, we would make sure we turn on for phophony. I was amazed that the owner remembered. the waitresses we had were excellent. this type of service we have not found anywhere. I feel good to support this hard working family and their team."

"Black-Eyed Suzie's has always perplexed me. They were never open when I walked by years ago, so I figured being off the main drag they were primarily catering. After some time, I did notice them open infrequently, and when they did they were usually pretty packed pre-Covid . Even once Covid began, they would have a handful of tables. Either way, it took forever for me to try it out even though I'm up the block. Pricing is like a nicer restaurant versus a fast casual place which is fine. Server I grabbed the takeout from was friendly, and food was on time. All things considered pretty convenient given how close we are. I ordered a cheeseburger, and unfortunately they forgo to include the cheese !!! . Should be criminalized. Still charged me for it, but rather than going back I just ran inside and slapped on a slice of my own cheese. The meat quality was great, although the bun fell apart pretty easily. Fries were very good too as was the pickle. Everyone else enjoyed their food. Might give this another shot one day, and just check the bag before I leave next time. Normally I find that tacky but in this case I wouldn't be able to justify not doing it."

"I love Tap House Grille, let's just get that out of the way. It's got a great interior, nicely decorated, with lots of space to move around between tables. The drinks are really good (get the Piccadilly Punch for something sweet! and the boneless wings are phenomenal (the Korean BBQ is fantastic but please bring back the Bourbon Maple sauce , the Mac Cheese is also really really good, I always have to order it on the side. Now on to the particulars of this visit. There were 6 of us, two of us ordered the Breakfast burger, both were supposed to be medium rare, both were well done. Two of us upgraded our shoe string fries to steak fries (a $2 up charge and received a few wedges of fried potato, which were good, but considering the quantity received, were not worth the up charge. One of us ordered the Rice Noodle bowl, now this person did fill up on wings and a giant pretzel first (which are great as mentioned , but they had one bit of their noodle bowl and decided not to eat anymore. Despite the dish being huge and otherwise appearing worth the money she complained that it was completely flavorless. She said the only thing on the dish with any flavor at all was the red peppers. We also had short ribs (acceptable but not outstanding , a chicken wrap (of which I heard no complaints about , and the crab cakes (which my wife loved! . This was my fifth time to Tap House Grille, and I will return, but this was my most lackluster visit so far."
