"Superb. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The food is brilliant. Everything is beautifully cooked and presentation is top-notch, it's a pity you have to eat it as some of it looks like a work of art. The paired wines make the experience even better. You can also ask if you can use the upstairs bar to have a coffee or after lunch/dinner drink which also offers a panoramic view over Edinburgh to the Forth and the Kingdom of Fife beyond..."

"Solid food and lovely ambience, though short of being anything especially memorable. The Cullen skink starter was delicious, and was the best part of the meal. The pie was disappointing and lacking in flavour. The vegetarian burger was more of a sandwich and was very dry."

"This was some of the best vegan food we've ever had. The Raj Thali was amazing, had a mushroom dish which I could have eaten all night and I don't even like mushrooms. It was really filling. 5* for food. The service was good at first but then they forgot about us and we had to wait for them to appear and flag them down. We had to remind them that we had asked for things. 3* for service which is why the score is low."

"V tasty and a bit different from the normal vegan breakfasts had a hint of Indian spices in everything. Also had unlimited oat chai and even gave us one for the road"

"Lovely restaurant. Mac and Cheese was good but the sauce could have been cheesier. Excellent drinks menu and the coconut rice pudding was yummy. Great location as it is right opposite the train station. It is huge inside with great live music and fabulous decor. Only downside is when group bookings cannot be guaranteed to be sat together."
