"My wife and I happened upon Côte Asie while out walking in the 7th arrondiesement after dinner. We decided to try the restaurant the following night, and asked for the table for two near the window. (There are also tables in back.)We each started with different soups (both based on shrimps), and they were bursting with flavor. For our main dishes, my wife ordered skewers of beef, which had been marinated and sprinkled with herbs and chopped peanuts, accompanied by large lettuce leaves (for wrapping), various fresh herbs, and thin rice noodles.My dish was a chicken in red curry, which was served in a bowl with a broth that subtly combined both coconut and curry flavors. I ordered a side dish of sticky rice, and it was great with the broth.A limited, but good choice of wine (by the glass, half-bottle or bottle) and beer are available, and of course tea and other soft drinks.The ambient music was not the type we are accustomed to hearing in France: Muzak (also known to some as "elevator music"). It was played quietly, however, so did interfere with the experience.The deserts looked tempting but we were too full to try them. Next time!"
