"My wife and I had the utmost pleasure of being served by Mauro, who was attentive and helpful with his recommendations while taking note of our dietary restrictions. Dinner service was full so reservations are strongly encouraged. We got the basement floor which we preferred as it was less hectic. We had the salad samplers, pasta samplers and balsamic steak and we enjoyed all of them. Mauro also took the initiative to change one of the pastas to suit my dietary needs. It was actually quite filling by the time we finished but I’m glad we found some room for the tiramisu, which was easily one of the best we had. We had a lovely evening filled with good food and great service and would recommend anyone visiting Florence to give it a try."

"7 people for an Aperitivo almost 27 Euros each..!!! I we hadn 't order some food (not a dish per person but a few to share) (ordering food was also the only option like in a real restaurant) with the drinks we had, they would not have served even some nuts or chips: nothing at all. I want to let everybody know that Aperitivo or Apericena in Italy is usually a fixed price and a buffet with some food that is included in the price of the drink. Just unbelievable! It was a rip off... food wasn 't great and the price did not make any sense. At some point after such a huge bill they made clear that we had to go and free the table.. Horrible experience. Florence is full of incredible places.. Trust me, I was born i Florence. Do not go to Dogana."
