"So, we were fortunate enough to be one of their last customers, as they were switching to only delivery, starting the next day, and were closing up that night. The food was delicious, a restaurant that was usually bustling, was filled with scattered, rather nervous diners, with ample space of more than six feet on account of the new rules that went into effect as well a few days earlier. The Corona-virus times are going to be something that remains in my memory a long time to come, as I lie stranded in Germany, on account of the travel lockdowns everywhere, unable to get back to the US. But enough about my troubles. This restaurant serves delicious food!!! I can see why it was always packed to the hilt, the few times we did try to get in earlier! Then we started doing takeaways from there, and there too, the place seemed to be bustling and our orders were ready. So, I am truly delighted for them and all the other restaurants we have done take aways from! Please stay safe and see you, hopefully, on the other side of this."

"The restaurant had published vouchers for a discounted lunch table in a local magazine. We had made a small tour of the already well crowded Kiel Christmas market at noon and decided to try the daily dishes there. After a short walk the railway station and then the restaurant reached. During the entrance no one was able to see from the service nearby, from the background of the rather expansive guest room we were kindly greeted by an operator. But since she was obviously busy there and did not make any institutions to come to us, we sought a free table in the almost empty front area and took place. Shortly afterwards another operation came to our table, handed us the menus and lit the candle standing on the table. Then she disappeared and gave us time to study the menu. After a reasonable time she came back to pick up the order, initially answered a question about the menu competently and friendly and then accepted our order. The drinks ordered were taken by a colleague after a very short time. While other service personnel were involved in the background, the two young operators supplied the entire area near the entrance. They were friendly, accommodating and fleeing. Food The house specializes in steaks and Brazilian churrascos, as well as various buffets. On the homepage you can find both the general menu and the current map with the daily dishes: [here link] and [here link] /philosophy In the weekly exchange, five dishes are offered at reasonable prices between 7.00 and 8.00 €, which are based on the program of the house, but are not necessarily found on the regular card. In addition, there is a list of permanent lunches from 11:30 to 16:30 on Monday to Friday, as well as during the whole week at the same times the lunch bargain. Madame chose, after a ripe reflection “Putenmedaillons Carbonara, Putenmedaillons in herbal parmesan panade, from the pan, with spaghetti in mushroom cream and grated parmesan cheese” (regular 7,20 €, with a small Cola light (2,20 €). The drinks were served quickly, then it took a while until the service brought our plates. They looked very good and were filled enough. As Madame reported, the medallions were tender and tasty, the noodles were boiled to the point al dente. But this time there was nothing left for me, the portions weren't that big. The beef strips on my plate were somewhat firm, but tasted good and harmonized with the pepper sauce. The rice was not too granular, but also not soy, and could take the sauce well. After I emptied the plate, my feeling of hunger has not been completely breastfeeded. However, as a dessert was also part of the lunch meal with the voucher (and that at the special price of 4.50 €, I was also well fed. Ambience local in Hacienda style with arches that structure the very large guest room well, and rustic furniture on large-format square tiles. Lamps hang on iron chains over the tables that are covered with placemats without tablecloths. Wood beams on ceiling and walls underline the rustic atmosphere of the restaurant, which offers easily over 100 guests space. Cleanness rusticity does not mean that cleanliness would be neglected here. The guest room was clean and there was no reason to complain about dishes, glasses and cutlery. The toilets that have been visited in the meantime proved to be absolutely modern in terms of design and the technology of the installations and were clean pikobello."

"General We had seen a performance in the media dom of the University of Applied Sciences and felt a clear feeling of hunger. Two restaurants in the vicinity were available, Madame pleaded for the Korean. We drove the short piece to the other side of the Schwentine and found a parking lot close to the restaurant. Operation When entering, we were greeted by an operator who was just on the way to a room where a family party was probably held. She suggested that we could choose a table in the almost empty main room, and disappeared in the side room. We took place at a table on the window. A little later, the service provided us with the menus and lit the candle standing on the table. The ordered drinks were served quickly, and otherwise the service was quite busy. Their appearance was very polite, friendly and accommodating, guests at the neighboring table who had questions about eating, she explained the topics in detail. And of course, just after serving, it was asked if everything was fine, whether it tastes. No offer from Kim Chi or any other food you can get connected to Korean cuisine. But we didn't let ourselves go. Madame chose the No. 72, “Ente, English (Currysoße , 1⁄2 duck, crispy baked with various vegetables in curry sauce” (12.50 € and a jasmine tea (2.80 €). I ordered the No. 34, “Huhn, Gana (sharf, chicken meat, roasted with various vegetables, paprika, rinding). After a reasonable waiting period, a rechaud and two well preheated plates were first brought, in the next course the dishes were then placed on the usual oval plates. The rice came separately in a metal bowl with lid. In both dishes, the vegetable ingredients were fresh and crisp, the respective meat was delicate and tasty. Overall, there was a clearly recognizable tasteful difference to the popular China restaurants. Despite almost the same description in the menu, it tasted different and better. As usual, Madame left me a rest to try, and also the "England" really tasted good. Ambiente The guest room was structured with wooden frames and paper fillings. The floor was covered with dark needle felt, the furniture consisted of reddish tinted wood. The chairs had seat and back cushions with pale-coloured covers in Scandinavian style, the tables were covered with white fabric tablecloths, over which two table runners in red. The squares were covered with forks and spoons, paper napkins were upright. On each table stood a vase with flowers and a candle, but in different lights. Cleanliness The guest room worked well, we could not detect any dirt deposits or crumbs. Also dishes, glasses and cutlery were perfectly clean. We didn't visit the toilets, so no statement is possible."
