"Over 2hrs 30mins, numerous calls, mislead by the staff, and still no food at gone 22.30. On the last call was finally told food was being cooked so we cancelled the order. Appreciate it was a busy night and did give them the benefit of...the doubt, but over 2hrs 30mins and going from your order is next, your order is out with the driver, the driver should be with you in 5 and finally its just being cooked is totally unforgivable. Website was pointless too, live chat was an auto bot and when I wanted to cancel the order I couldn't."

"Visited to eat at Lal Sher in the Red Lion on Mother’s Day. Had pre-booked but had to wait 30 mins to be seated. No one took our drinks orders. Finally was able to request some poppadoms after being sat for 30 mins and ordered starters and mains. Starters took an hour and then we had to wait a further 5 minutes for cutlery. Sauces for the starters came out as we were finishing. We were still not able to put in a drinks order so we had to go to the bar for drinks. Mains took a further 1 hour and 20 mins. In contrast to our last visit here, the food was bland and the chicken was gristly. The biryani was tasteless. We advised the staff, the meal wasn’t a great standard and it was annoying we didn’t get any table service for drinks. Keep having to leave the table to queue at a busy bar was not ideal when we were finally able to eat. During the visit, I went to the toilets and found them dirty. Full of cobwebs and unclean. The bins were over flowing and there was no hand wash. On the way back, the kitchen door was open and I looked in. On the floor was discarded food and the whole kitchen looked to be disorganised. On the way back to the table, I noted there were multiple dirty plates piled up on tables and food around tables on the floor. They clearly didn’t have enough staff to operate on a busy evening and even though people were paying to eat at the restaurants, they continued to serve takeaways who were getting served much quicker than sit in customers."

"Me, my Husband and my parents often come to Eastern Revive for a weekend treat. I can honestly say it's never let us down. I think it's the best Indian I have been to (and we eat out a lot local, Altrincham, Chester, Manchester etc. . The chicken shashlik is to die for and the Easter Revive Jalfrezi is a close second for me. The chicken chat for starters is great but my favourite are the tandoori king prawns exceptional. My Husband always orders the lamb chops for starter which are excellent. Service is always good. Prices are not cheap but also not unreasonable for the quality."

"This is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Warrington area and I've been coming here with my husband and two kids since it first opened in 2004. Food and service is always excellent and also not overpriced. Would highly recommend."
