"Tuesday evening and I sit on the terrace of Schlosshotel Iglhauser in Mattsee near Salzburg, look at the lake and look at how I shape the criticism of Kitt in Bad Kreuznach. She must be good, because I am sure that two of our colleagues have been expecting this for a long time. At the end of the third stage we were in Guldental, the highly praised Hotel and Restaurant Kaiserhof. And I must say that my impression of this House is also very positive. Unfortunately, they closed the restaurant on Wednesday, as the boss told me when booking immediately. On my question how to eat well, various suggestions came to my account by email from Guldental. Among them the kittens recommended in Bad Kreuznach. Information about the restaurant online is difficult in advance. There is really no HP! But entries in different portals and the Bib Gourmant in one of the most famous of these restaurant lists. It was... but I followed my gut feeling and the euphoric recommendation of the Kaiserhof and booked my wife and I a table there. That was done quickly by phone. On the third stage on this Wednesday we went through Bad Kreuznach at noon and looking for a lunch we suddenly stood in front of a small house with a sign above the door: this looked very nice, though very small. I hope my reservation was in the books. And because there is no way to see the map online, here is a photo of the 7th edition. September this year. With this offer we would take the 9 Gang Tapas menu to try as much as possible from the card. We turned around and went to lunch (Critique followed and wandered over the afternoon through endless vineyards and pressing heat to Guldental. A taxi was then quickly ordered for the evening and so we were back in a few minutes from where we had changed in hours. Shortly before 7:00 we entered the kitten and received a very small guest room. A maximum of 20 guests can sit here. The restaurant places extreme requirements for interior design, as besides seats for 20 guests, the counter and other rooms must also be found in a space of 10 x 10 meters. It's very cuddly! We were kindly received by a lady. In the evening it was found that the lady with her partner runs the restaurant completely alone. More than 20 guests don't go. And if as on Wednesday night all tables are occupied, then it will be really stressful for the two. Here is really slow food, you always have to give time for the next walk and the next wine. Outpatient fast foods are not happy here! An aperitif was ordered quickly and we looked into the cards (although we were sure we would order the 9-speed menu. I asked once again, but yes, you wanted to refine those with lavender syrup... Bon! We love Provence and especially the village of Banon in the middle (sometimes try the “Banon de Banon” and so we got a glass served: And that was a good combination! Just try.... Our menu was requested, and we stayed faithful to our plan and ordered the 9-speed tapas menu with wine tasting to a little below 90 EUR. I was very curious, because for 9 courses plus wine it was already quite calculated. A greeting of the kitchen: To this very delicious air-dried wild boar a spund cheese and a fresh goat cheese with honey and walnut. We started in our menu A pickled salmon trout was served. A chili oil, source and stripes of china cabbage. This could be the case with the parmesan mentioned above. Good standing. Next it went with a lukewarm potato cloth soup. Lauwarme potato soup? This isn't going straight towards Gazpacho, but I must confess that tastes good! Especially with crosses and strips of Merguez. That was insane. Gang number three towards Austria. A table top was served. Very slightly marinated with a Vinaigrette and radish. And also pepper. Almost, I almost concrete and the marinated table top I just got from Mrs. Iglhauser's kitchen. But Bad Kreuznach is of course not Austria and therefore it is very delicious! What happened? Lachsforelle came! On the skin fried fillet, served on a risotto with peas and gambas. Perfectly prepared. Glassy fish, crispy skin, al dente rice! In the middle A piece of beef, a fillet, pink in the inner and outer quite slightly browned as it must. Among them a ratatouille. You can't do that. What is it? A lamb came, just a piece of it. Served on a really delicious and interesting supplement. A pale bean and tomato salad. In combination with the delicate lamb a pleasure. Now we needed a break. The kitchen served a raspberry sorbet, which was unfortunately not poured with a champagne! But also so delicious.... And now? The highlight of the evening! There was a plate with a plum, or two halves. In a plum sauce, congratulated with a goat cheese. The plum halves were drawn very briefly in a strongly reduced plum sauce, then congratulated with a goat cheese. This combination was divine! The rocket was quickly removed and didn't bother! The sweet end To the end of a really good and extensive menu (was that still tapas? a parfait of Mirabellen on a cream cucumber and slightly embellished Mirabellen halves. Delicious, but after that no more.... The whole menu went over 4 hours. We didn't get a star kitchen because presentation, ingredients and service didn't fit completely, but we got a very ambitious farm kitchen served that was as delicious as it looks. You need to take time for the food in the kitt and have a companion with which it is fun to bridge some longer breaks between the courses, but then it is really fun to eat in the kitt. I understand the “Bib”. Extremely good PLV is offered here. Just go. And as we are close to the wine, as far as I still get it. I had asked for accompaniment after near wines. Service: We took place at one of the free tables in the backyard. The map with few well-thought-out dishes “Regional delicacies to wine” and the many wines (with named and less well-known near winemakers is ready on the tables. The service this late afternoon is operated by two young men and later another employee. Easy and beautiful. In this way I have a consultation within: It's sweet. My husband chose 0.1l Sauvignon Blanc,trocken, Weingut Anette Closheim, Langenlonsheim to € 4.50. The wine, almost too conscious. The fruity aromas are very intense. Great, but if you want to enjoy it for a (lighter food, it probably wants to be thoughtful. The actual dinner was still on. That is why we chose “small wines”. Various spreads with olives, herbal oil and fresh bread at 4.50 €. I think there's no one here who wants to drink. It just fits wonderful. A basket of fresh and fine-pored white bread was served. Then 3 varieties of olives, a fresh pepper cheese and a herb gurke. For our wine and for two no problem to serve only a part. There were also some slices of bread, there were still fresh cheese and quark left. Tastefully everything good and fresh. The herbal oil couldn't really convince me. Probably regional (raps? oil. I prefer a good olive oil. For me there were then 0.1 l Riesling dry from the blue slate, winery Alt, Monzingen, to € 2.90 in. We could have done that. "A week earlier we hiked consciously through the historical museum village in Bad Sobernheim. Bad Münster is only 20 km away and here we were back on the road. The “Weinotel Schneider” I had in my mind, without preparation. Unfortunately it was closed at noon. We were walking. We went past the Ebernburg court. “Frischer Ingelheimer Spargel” stood on the outside of the board. The house looks well maintained rural, beer garden opposite the house. I'm on my way. This is our second choice. You can't always be lucky... It got us the concentrated muff of the last 40 years and since it was nothing worth mentioning here. The flowers of the house are really 1A! One more word about cleanliness: The tables covered clean, cutlery, glasses perfect. But walls speak volumes, the old linoleum floor in the corners close, chairs with clear signs of use. The color on the space separator leaves. Absolute renovation at all corners. Not an antique market, but a toad market. The figures per EC were indeed possible. Out of the air and never in. € 47,00 for the commandment I was not very hungry when we arrived. But hungry when we got out. Too bad for the little town. Bad Münster is really nice and has a great location. But the times of the numerous and costly spa guests are unfortunately over."

"Bella Vista The reason for this visit was the invitation or the gift of my mother-in-law to my mother for her round birthday. And yes, she was happy, my lady. Four really large, well-filled dough bags in a butter that tastes fine to sage. I even liked it. Homemade or back. The filling was really good. Do not look out and tasted industrially. Not homogeneous enough for this and also quite “cold”. So it tasted best at the table. 4,5* When clearing, it was not wondered about the empty plates, on the contrary. Shortly afterwards, a dessert was asked. There were only two Esspressi at the table. We were too tired. To surprise, there was also a really good grappa for everyone. That's how the bumpy start was almost forgotten. But only almost... Conclusion: The Bella Vista has not only a beautiful view, but also a bella cucina... When it comes to Italian cuisine in Bad Kreuznach, I only have one or two more shops that I would prefer. Bella Vista has a constant level for the longest time. So far there has been no reason to criticize my visits here. This time, the food was more than fine. And fish has always been a focus here. 4* The service italian (Turkish chaotic, not perfect, but always good mood. It's kind of fitting and you know it now. 3.5* The ambience is very pleasant and also a romantic dinner to two is quite conceivable here. In Bad Kreuznach there are also not many locals with such an idyllic location and views. 4,5* I can't complain about cleanliness. Even outside it was almost perfectly clean. 4,5* I find the PLV reasonable and fair. I don't know all the individual prices anymore, but to pay 145€ for five people is not too much to consider. Here 4.5* In any case, we will definitely come (sometimes again! 4 – happy again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen trip"
