"Easy walk from the Zollhafen Marina. Great steaks, fantastic Ceasars salad even as a veggie version on special request and amazing brownie dessert. Really friendly staff who know their stuff, the wein selection is very good. It's not necessarily a cheap eat but the standard...is very good and well worth it. The Filet Mignon was perfectly grilled medium rare. We would definitely come again."

"The price-performance ratio did not vote. You won't get tired of the Wiener Schnitzel. In the Holy Spirit it is three times as much at the same price. At Lohninger in Frankfurt, after all Koch of the year 2010 at Gault Millau, the Wiener Schnitzel is twice as large. And the carving in the boat house of Frank Buchholz did not taste better either. My wife had the Gonsenheim salad and quiche. Was delicious, but too little. She ate bread at home and a yogurt. The service was not optimal either. For example, coffee took 20 minutes. We only got the bill for repeated requests."

"We sat outside in a beautiful garden area and ordered lamb carree and fried salmon. both meals were delicious. the friendly owner recommended a tasty apple cake with ice and schnapps. it was very good. the owner was very chatty and when it was time for the bill, he asked for a drink before I had our credit card. actually I was ashamed as he and his wife served us the food and we had ordered wein. we gave him an additional euro, but thought his behaviour was superficial and inappropriate. it damped an evening meal I had enjoyed before. also this owner asked how we had learned from his restaurant and asked if we could give him an excellent rating?"

"Old fashioned bier Keller in the old part of Mainz. My wife wanted hackse pork knuckle) so to be able to help her out, I had the nurenberg sausages six of them but smallish). Wine very reasonable €4.30 for 200ml) and beer also Augustiner's weissbeer 500ml for €4.90). Meals tasty, alcohol good, service friendly and efficient waitress spoke English) and a nice atmosphere. We were up in the balcony on both occasions so cannot comment on the actual cellar. Recommended."
