"Excellent, slow food-like cuisine with a commitment to using regional and seasonal organic ingredients. For cold winters, the cosy wine cellar allows for a wonderful ambient. In the summer months, the outside terrace allows you to enjoy the warm weather. All this at a very reasonable price.Must:Of course try the wine (especially the Riesling) from their own organic-certified vineyard. Though we have made mixed experiences with organic wine in general, the Jakob Christ variety of organic Riesling wine are amongst our favorites. For refreshment the Riesling also makes a great "Schorle" (wine mixed with cold sparkling water).Hint:They are not open all year round, so check their website for opening days and hours.Better even, call and make a reservation."

"I visited this restaurant with my wife and some friends and we had a great experience. We had a great local Riesling and the menu looked amazing. The food did not disappoint and was fantastic. The staff was amazing and even offered to move us outside as the sun went down and the temperatures cooled off. Our waiter was very personable and suggested another Rheingau wine which we loved. Great experience, I hope to return."

"Rudesheim is one of those underrated travel cities yet is offers a lot too do. I am here to spend two days with my German family, and tonight we visited this fabulous restaurant. Their service is attentive and unobtrusive and the food is wonderful. I had the schweinschnitel which was tasty and a little on the predictable. Around the table we had cod fish, trout, another schnitzel, and a beef dish. We paired three with these bottles of a late harvest burgundy which was very light and went well with everybody's meal. They servers were great, everything was on time, and we had plenty of time to talk before, during, and after dinner. The travel session will soon be in full swing, so reservations will probably in order. I think you will like the restaurant and the staff. Rudesheim is cozy and so is the Hotel Rudesheimer God Restaurant. It is a pleasant memory of a pleasant visit in a small pleasant town in the heart of the Rhine-Hesse Wine region. I will be sending more reviews from this area. I hope they w will be helpful for your planning."

"It's Ben a while since we visited the Niederwald and this restaurant is new and looks the part it has great views of the river way below. coffee is €3 with a €3 deposit and a lot of people who don't speak German end up...€6 for the coffee. would I rush back again well no."

"We visited Weingut Thilo Strieth because we tasted the wine at Zum Zwei Mohren and it was very good. We were not disappointed when we visited the Weingut and basically ended up being too much wine :-)"
