"We had lunch here during the Church-day weekend at Weimar. The restaurant was quite full but we got one table luckily. They have special lunch menu which is very good value. You have a light main dish and eat-as-much-as-you-can salad bar. The waitress took our...order very quickly and our food arrived shortly after that. We all had fish soup with freshly-baked bread with some garlic dip. Everything was perfect. The salad bar offers a variety of salads and they are superb too. It was also ideal for a hot day. The meal didn't look big but we were quite full afterward so we had to skip the cakes which looked very inviting. The interior is modern, the chairs are very comfortable. Even though this restaurant belongs to a hotel catering to families, the atmosphere is still quiet and peaceful."

"Meget hyggelig lille restaurant midt i Weimar. Vi var i Weimar midt om sommeren, og nød en kop kaffe eller godnatdrink om aftenen ude i haven, eller under de store træer. Vi spiste også aftensmad her. Maden var god, og service og betjening helt i top. Levende musik fredag og lørdag aften."

Kleine Kompartimente sorgen für fast schon intime Stimmung. Perfekter aufmerksamer Service. Perfekte Qualität der Speisen vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Schweinebach auf Wirsing und Spinatgnocchi als Vorspeise, Menge reichlich, Darbietung exquisit, Geschmack aussergewöhnlich. Als Hauptspeeise Gänsebraten, zart, wenig Fett, fein gebraten. DAzu echte Thüringer Klösse. Ausserdem Rumpsteak mit Blumenkohl, auf der Zunge zergehend. Walnusseis als Dessert, ein richtig rundes gastronomisches Erlebnis. Die Weinkarte reichhaltig, interessant: ein Riesling von Saale-Unstrut und ein Schwarzriesling aus Württemberg fanden die ungeteiltte Zustimmung der Tischgenossen."
