"My husband and I had dinner 3/4/2022, made reservations for 6pm. Once sat, it took a while for our table to be greeted; we were not told of the days special(s). I noticed the table(s) sat after us were greeted more promptly told the day(s) special given bread/water upon being sat. "Cameron was outstanding!!! He was the perfect level of attentive, even though he had way too many tables to serve. I am not a wine drinker and Cameron offered a sample of a wine that was perfect. He listened to the flavor profile I enjoyed as well as that of my companion and somehow brought a sample both of us could drink He's a wine wizard lol. In addition to this recommendation he maintained his composure regardless of how many tables tried to get his attention and having to hustle to move guest sitting outside indoors, when the sky opened up l and it started to pour down rain. The hostesses were accommodating as well. The pleasant attitudes of every staff member made the experience enjoyable. Now for the food I had a whiskey flight which was lovely. I typically have sweet cocktails so I can't taste the alcohol but the apple, cinnamon and honey whiskeys were enjoyable straight. They were bittersweet with a distinct taste of apple, cinnamon or honey. I could enjoy any of the 3 blended into a hot totty or tea. We only partook in appetizers but the chicken quesadilla was seasoned perfectly. It was clearly fresh chicken breast, onions and green peppers. Not too salty or overly seasoned. The charcuterie board was tasty as well. I'm not a dip fan and I enjoyed the hummus and forgive my uncouthness for not recalling the name of the olive paste dip but it was good as well and I typically only enjoy olives on a supreme pizza. Very fresh food, abundant beer, wine spirit selections, excellent location (Old Town Alexandria)and professional attentive staff, what more could I ask for?"

"Extremely pricey. Great river views on the patios! Some of the tables outside have fire pits, and they have private rooms if you need. I was a bit put off that sodas were cans (and significantly marked up). We enjoyed the calamari quite a bit. The crab dip was good. I had been craving fried foods, so the fried green tomatoes hit the spot. If you come on a weekend, definitely make a reservation, as it's in a tourist hub and gets really crowded."

"Big shout out to Sean who caught a potential disaster when I ordered gluten free noodles, but didn't ask about the sauce (which had wheat in it)! I'm allergic to wheat and if I had eaten the meal I would have had a terrible allergic reaction that causes severe breathing issues. Thanks for being aware, thoughtful, and considerate!"
