"Second time here and trying to figure out why this place has 4.6 stars. This time, Ordered the special- chicken sorrentino with white wine, eggplant and prosciutto. Classic Italian dish comes out smothered in cheese and red sauce. I don’t eat dairy- not that the server/bartender asked. Huge portion almost comical but breaded chicken when it clearly said seared… completely unappetizing and for $32?! Plus frozen veggies and powdered mash potatoes. Server went to check the listing because I said it doesn’t say cheese… and came back and asked if I wanted something else. But at that point what would I do watch my friend eat her dinner? I scraped off the cheese and here I sit with a belly ache. I barely touched the dinner- could’ve should’ve taken it off. Your reviews must be from the locals who drink bottles of coors light and eat whatever fried flavorless monstrosity that comes out of the kitchen. No thanks. Never again. "Sal de Fortes treats you like family where you are before or it is your first visit. I had one of the new specials last night, a spinach and goat cheese filled chicken breast with risotto and grilled asparagus. It was dying. The filling was so good that I had only one bowl. Our server was excellent as usual. All in all a wonderful and relaxing meal."
