"We drove 120 miles to eat here, and called en route. We were told no reservations were necessary and there was no wait. We arrived 20 minutes later, and were told there would be an hour wait, that they "just filled up 5 minutes ago." Okay, have something to drink and wait. The first word that comes to mind is "pretentious." The atmosphere is one of a German beer hall without the down to earthiness. Shared tables without shared experiences, just space. It's so loud that it's difficult to have a conversation anyway!<br>

Menu: seriously? Who's wrote it? A 2nd grader? Without a smartphone, with pictures, there is NO WAY you can make sense of the half piece of paper and random words they call a menu. Portion sizes are minute, although the food is tasty. My pasta was undercooked to the point of being woody in texture but the flavor was nice. "What a shame!. This restaurant has a great concept for a strip mall in a fab location. But they really miss the mark here. I mean, serving pre-made Sam 's Club sample, find 'em in the frozen foods meatballs as a meat option with the Asian meals is, well, kind of disappointing. Not that I need to say more, but the food is bland as well, and the chefs appeared to be Asian which is a surprise. The two Asian dishes I got had no flavor, no sauce, no nothing. And I really did try hard to find the flavor in the two pieces of broccoli, but then when I found no more broccoli, I turned to another veggie, but then the veggies were scant. "This is a great place in East Nashville with a very creative menu. We went while we were visiting some family, and randomly chose the restaurant only to find out that my relatives also love this place. I had the Jamaican jerk chicken which was on a sort of backed pure of plantains and other flavors with sweet potatoes the chicken was cooked perfectly. One member of my party had the catch of the day, another member had the muscles, and two others shared a Margherita pizza and some salads. Everyone liked their food, although my friend had the mussels (which were in a Thai esque curry broth) noticed that they were really small, and after looking at them I have to agree that they were some of the smallest mussels I have ever seen. One other critique was the service the restaurant was very busy, so that may have been why but after the initial drink and food order our waitress hardly ever came back, not once during the meal service to ask if we need anything (which we did). In addition, my friend got up and went to the bathroom and before we could notice, another staff member had removed her wine glass which still had wine in it. So for this reason, 4/5, but definitely worth a try and definitely do not try to go without a reservation."

"Yes and No: It was convenient to TPAC and was good for kids. The pizza and chicken parmesan were good but the ceasar salad was not. it has way too much salad dressing and croutons. The lettuce was very limp too. The tiramisu was the highlight of the dinner. So yummy!"
