"At the bridge above the loisach stands this, over a hundred years old, hospitable. the entrance is located on a small side street. Here they get gracious chickens that pick up their food on the street or the neighboring deich. also the rest of the kitty that are brought here every day will not be overlooked, and the air smells wonderful to land. You have to buy this if you want to come back. in the gasthof itself, a Bavarian kulinarik awaits, from one generation to the next, always owner-managed, everything is new and modern, which is already due to the fact that the lukez in high water floods the gaststubenboden. so the gasthof can now also call itself hotel. the menu is very rich in hot and cold food, very regional. because a metzgerei is also part of it, is the current wet metzgermeister, comes meat and is made from its own production. in the afternoon they can get used to homemade cakes. over 20 years I have visited this gas house, and the quality has always remained equally good. Unfortunately, this year I experienced something negative which leads me to take a star. I was glad to stay here once. the single room with breakfast for 48 euro, because I did not expect great comfort, usually clean. that was it. bed, table, chair, small hard sofa, tw and a newly renovated bathroom. sufficient for a night. but the bed, as terrible. snore and squeeze at any movement. the matrate lowered far down. even the bed was very low, small mobile people I cannot recommend it. the wooden frame was then placed under much noise on the bed edge, the wooden frame was sensitively pressed against the legs. the room of my life. a night, no more. the breakfast was not so special. a large basket with the cheapest brotsort, and since Sunday was probably still from the day before. love bridge, luckily, that was nothing, but to eat again."

"We've been living in Amberg for months and just now discovered this place; so happy we did. We walked past it a couple times before COVID, but there was never anyone outside probably too chilly at that time. On a friend's recommendation we decided...to try it and we loved it! I saw someone else's post that the staff does not speak any English; we didn't find that to be true! They are probably as good at speaking English as we are at speaking Deutsche, but together it's not difficult to communicate. It's true that there were no menus in English, but easy to translate or interpret. They have a full bar AND THE HAVE REAL ICE! Most European bars and restaurants are very conservative with their ice giving you sometimes ONE ice cube! My request for a liqueur with ice was delivered with crushed ice just like in the states! My husband had a steak that was smothered in crispy onion skins and fries. I had a schnitzel with spaetzle. Both were great, and we found Russwurmhaus to be a bit more pricefriendly than some of our other favorites. We loved their outside seatingpatiobeer garden I kind of hate the term beer garden when they have a full bar and serve much more than beer!. When the sun sets they place bottles with LED lighting on each table to create a candlelight ambiance in this off the beaten path location. It's right on the Vils river and a bit more isolated than many local favorite dining establishments. We did not go inside so I can only review the outside dining experience. The wait staff was extremely accommodating. We have already made reservations to return; it's now a local favorite"

"It’s set in a very lovely building and the deco is amazing. We arrived and well greeted by friendly staff. The service was excellent, the starters also. We all ordered different mains from fish to Thai curry, all mains were shockingly bad, the only meal which was slightly ok was the fish but even the sides to this were poor. My daughter only ever orders Schnitzel and this was left due to poor quality, it was overcooked and looked like it was from the freezer with far too much breadcrumbs. I had the Thai curry and it looked amazing but was awful, bitter with none of the normal beautiful Thai flavours. We had so many recommendations for this restaurant but it was over priced for food we all thought was extremely poor. We would never go back."

"We came here in a big round due to the positive rating on Google Maps. Above all, we have witnessed the selection on the menu. Everyone really doesn't care what eating habits are. Generally, everything tasted us, only food could be a bit warmer. In addition, the inn is definitely more beautiful than the photos suggest! We will certainly come back and definitely recommend it. However, a reservation certainly makes sense when it comes to the order that prevails here."

"I was a lot in my life. And because I don't like cooking, I need to get to know some gastronomic facilities. But this really impressed me.
