"I went there with a local colleague, and was very happy with his choice of restaurant!We started with an aperitif, prosecco with a rhubarb liqueur, unusual and very good.I then had a 3 course set menu, with soup, pork and a chocolate dessert. All dishes were tasty and competently prepared. At €30, the set menu was definitely good value.The restaurant has also a very wide range of wines.The waiting staff was friendly and service was nice and quick.I would recommend it."

"We actually slept here as we had an early flight from Hamburg airport, and this was 10 min drive to the airport. But we also tried the restaurant they have. We had a 4 persons apartment. Even though the place smells a bit old everything was clean! Comfy beds and pillows, duvet and all that. Clean bathroom with shampoo, shower gel, anything you need for a quick one night stay. We slept across the road in one of the apartment buildings. Very nice that they have a restaurant on site as well, where we had dinner. Nice and quick service, the waitress recommended some nice local wine, which was very good. Had the baked potato with herring strips and it was great. Don't know how the breakfast is now here, but I clearly remember staying in this same hotel precisely 12 years ago and remembering this as one of the best hotel breakfasts. Hope it is still the same. Will be staying here again and recommend it if you have an early flight, or just want to avoid sleeping in the center of the city."

"The Ratsmühle in Ohlsdorf am Oberlauf der Alster is a typical, petty-bourgeois destination. We like to go there and are always served friendly and attentive. The ambience is perhaps a bit old and bodice, but the food – good German cuisine – very tasty and plentiful. In the summer I prefer the salad with Scampi, now at the end of January until about the end of February is Stint time (small salmon type that now attracts the rivers; eat former poor people I'm just eating. There's nowhere as good as there. A little crunchy salad, then the stint we eat with our fingers. We take pommes as a supplement, they are crisp and in no case fat. At least 1x per week of Mölln (approx. 60km! I'm not taking this."

"The food is rich and delicious. Certainly not everything is fresh in the size of the menu. Here everyone finds something and you will be sure! Especially remarkable is the mega-perlige and ice-cold holsten! That alone would be worth five stars, but the rest counts... that's because 3 out of 5 and the heart loves the beer here!"
